ADMINISTRATION:
Dr ALEKSANDAR RAKOVIC – Chairman of the Association and the Assembly
Aleksandar Rakovic was born in Belgrade, on June 21, 1972. He received B.A., M.S. and Ph.D. degrees in history at the Faculty of Philosophy, University of Belgrade.
He defended his master’s thesis Yugoslav public and Irish revolution 1916-1923 on July 10, 2007 at the Department of Yugoslav History. On January 18, 2011 he defended his doctoral thesis Rock and Roll in Yugoslavia 1956-1968 – challenge to the socialist society, also at the Department of Yugoslav History.
He is the author of the books Yugoslavs and Irish revolution 1916-1923 (Belgrade: Official Gazette, 2009) and Rock and Roll in Yugoslavia 1956-1968 – challenge to a socialist society (Belgrade: Arhipelag, 2011).
He is a co-author of the book University and Serbian Theology: historical and educational context of the establishment of the Faculty of Orthodox Theology in Belgrade (Belgrade: Faculty of Orthodox Theology, 2010).
He was appointed Scientific Associate on October 5, 2011 by decision of the Commission for acquiring scientific titles of the Ministry of Education and Science of the Republic of Serbia.
In the period 2001 – 2003, he was an adviser in the Ministry of Religion and the Federal Secretariat of Religion. From February 2005 to January 2008 he was the Head of the Information and Documentation Centre of the Faculty of Orthodox Theology in Belgrade. From February 2008 to September 2008 he was the Assistant to the Director of the National Archives of Serbia. Since September 2008 he has been the Adviser for international relations at the Ministry of Religion of the Republic of Serbia.
On behalf of the Republic of Serbia he submitted five papers and spoke at four annual meetings of the OSCE on human rights and religious freedom: in Warsaw (2009 and 2011) and Vienna (2010 and 2011).
He is the Coordinator of the First Interfaith Dialogue Serbia – Indonesia (2011-2012).

MILAN KORICA - Chairman of the Management Board
He was born in Mogoric;
He finished Zemun High school in Belgrade;
B.A. and M.S. degrees acquired at the Faculty of Civil Engineering, University of Belgrade.
He holds a Quality license for design – Serbia.
He is the member of many Professional Associations: Member of the Federation of Architects and Engineers of the Republic of Serbia, the honourable member of Architects and Engineers of Russia.
In the period 1965 – 1991 he worked at “Energoprojekt” Construction Company.
In the period 1991 – 2001 he was one of the directors at the “Korny” Construction Company.
Since 2001: Director at “Korny” Designing Company.
In previous decades, he achieved remarkable results in the design, construction, quality control and management of numerous capital projects.
With the team of his experts he built many hotels, airports, subways and underground airport facilities, TV towers, sports complexes, and football stadiums.
He won numerous awards.
For significant contribution to architecture and construction, he won “Borba” award for architecture and construction in 1984, the first prize for the covers / roofs at the railway stations, the third prize at the international contest for the project of the bridge over the Danube near Beska, at the highway E-75, Novi Sad – Belgrade, as well as the first prize at the international contest for the sports complex in Baghdad, Iraq.

MARKO JELIC – Secretary General of the Association
PREDRAG VRANES – Member of the Association’s Management Board
Predrag Vraneš was born on 21st of March 1952, in Belgrade.
He graduated at the Faculty of Electrical engineering, the University of Belgrade, in December 1976, and started his professional career at the Mihajlo Pupin Institute.
He gained his Master of Science Degree in computer science in June 1983, at one of the most prestigious American Universities – UCLA (University of California Los Angeles), and became a teaching assistant there.
After his post-graduate studies he worked as a research associate at the IBM Thomas J. Watson research centre in the USA, acquiring his comprehensive expertise in the computer industry.
Predrag Vraneš has been Managing Director of S&T Serbia, part of S&T AG (System Integration and Technology Distribution) company, from its start, since 1996.
Prior to this, he worked as Managing Director of the Computer Engineering Department of Mihajlo Pupin Institute for Automation and Telecommunications, where he was a project leader for many years (since 1984).
Mr. Vranes was also an active water polo player for one of the most successful European water polo clubs – Partizan, in the period between 1969 and 1980. The team won seven National and two European championships during that period.
He also played 91 times for the Yugoslav National Team in many international tournaments all over the world, and is a holder of medals from all mentioned competitions.
At the period between 1992. and 1998. he was a president of water polo club Partizan.

He graduated from the Faculty of Law, University of Belgrade (International Law and Commerce).
He also finished School for Technical Analysis and Quantitative Applications (1995-1999) in New York, USA.

• Born on January 30,1941, Tresnjevo, Andrijevica, Montenegro;
• Graduated from the Faculty of Philology in Belgrade, Department for Yugoslav and World Literature;
• 1964 – 1966: professor of literature in the Secondary School of Architecture in Belgrade;
• 1967 – still: journalist of “Politika” where he made way from contributor and editor of the foreign policy section to deputy chief editor;
• 1985 – 1991 permanent correspondent of “Politika” in Bonn; 1992 – 1996 permanent correspondent of “Politika” in Bonn (second term); 2003 – 2006 permanent correspondent of “Politika” in Berlin;
• Teaching International Politics (International Relations), visiting the European University;
• Winner of the biggest journalism awards, among others, the main “Politika Awards“ and two lifetime achievement awards, one from the Association of Journalists of Serbia and the other from the Union of Journalists of Serbia and Montenegro;

BORISLAV (VELIBOR) KORKODELOVIC – Member of the Association’s Management Board
Editor in the National News Agency TANJUG.
Born in 1949, graduated from the Faculty of Poltical Sciences in 1971 and attended postgraduate studies.
He spent most of his working lifetime in Tanjug as a journalist-associate and editor for World Service, Domestic and Foreign Desks, and Economic information Service (EKOS).
He was Tanjug correspondent from Southern Africa with the seat in Lusaka, the capital of Zambia.
He reported from many international meetings held in the country and abroad.
He was, among others, a special correspondent at the Conference of Ministers of the Non-Aligned Countries in Bali in 1992. During his prolonged stay there, to got better acquainted with the development of Indonesia and met personalities from the political, economic life and media of that great an populous country.
He was one of the first reporters from the former Yugoslavia who had visited the Republic of Korea (South Korea) and Taiwan.
He stayed in the United States of America on a study tour, and visited Malaysia and Singapore.
Apart from his daily obligation in the Agency, he has written hundreds of articles on political trends, social and cultural events, particularly the economic development of countries in the Asia&Pacific – Japan, India, Pakistan, Iran, the Philippines, Vietnam, Thailand, Australia and New Zealand…
He cooperated with newspapers from the teritories of the former Yugoslavia.
That practice has continued to these days with magazines in Belgrade and Podgorica.
On call, he gives lectures for the students of the Faculty of Political Sciences (FPN) in Belgrade.

He was born in Belgrade in 1970.
He finished Elementary School “Petar II Petrovic Njegos” in Belgrade and High School of Theology ” Gazi Husref-bey’s Madrasah ” in Sarajevo.
In 1997, he graduated theology at “Al-Azhar” University in Cairo, Egypt. At the same time, he obtained IELTS degree at the British Council and finished two years of business management. He achieved a high level of proficiency in English language at the Kensington Institute in London.
He was an Imam at Bajrakli Mosque in Belgrade and the Chief Imam in Nis region.
In 2000, as the youngest pilgrim, he led a group of twenty-five pilgrims from Serbia to Saudi Arabia, as honoured guests of King Fahd. WAMY (World Assembly of Muslim Youth) appointed him its representative and president of Muslim Youth in Serbia.
He was the chief editor of “Selam” magazine of the Islamic Community of Serbia. He worked on translations of Islamic works from Arabic and English. He improved and enhanced the work of the publishing activities of the Islamic Community of Serbia. He wrote, “How to celebrate Ramadan,” “Halal standard of Serbia” and “Miracles of Qur’an.”
He teaches Kiraet (proper recitation of the Qur’an) and English Language at the first Belgrade madrassa.
Accompanied by the Mufti of Belgrade, he attended many world multi-religious and Islamic conferences and meetings.
He was the member of the Commission for the Truth and Reconciliation, at the suggestion of the President of the FRY.
In 2005, he participated in the State Department’s “Programme for the Future Muslim Leaders of Europe” at the suggestion of the U.S. Embassy in Belgrade.
Since 2008 by the decision of the Islamic Community of Serbia, he has been the General Manager of Halal Agency Serbia for certification of Halal quality.
Married to Azra, has a daughter Nora and a son Omar.
He speaks Arabic and English.

PROFESSOR LjUBODRAG DIMIC, Ph.D. – Member of the Association’s Management Board
He was born in 1956. in Zemun.
He graduated history at the Faculty of Philology, University of Belgrade.
He did a master’s thesis on “Agitprop phase of cultural policy in Serbia: 1945-1952”.
He obtained his PhD at the same Faculty in 1993 with the dissertation “Cultural Policy in the Kingdom of Yugoslavia: 1929-1941.”
He was a teaching assistant at the Institute for the History of the labor movement in Serbia (now the Institute for Recent History of Serbia). In 2002 he became full professor at the Faculty of Philosophy in Belgrade. In the period 2003-2005 he was the Head of the History Department of the Faculty of Philosophy in Belgrade.
One of the founders of the “Centre for Contemporary History Of South-Eastern Europe” and the founder and head of the “Center for the History of Yugoslavia and the Cold War”. Since 2001 he led the Commission for Truth and Reconciliation founded by the President of FR Yugoslavia.
He was engaged in the work of several history editorials such as “Yugoslav History Magazine” (deputy editor), “History of the XX century”, “Yearbook of Social History,” “Military History Gazette,” and ” The teaching of history.”
He studied and did research work in London, Prague, Braunschweig, Moscow, Ekaterinburg, Paris. He participated in the work of dozens of scientific conferences at home and abroad.
He is the Member of the Board for the 20th century history of the Serbian Academy of Arts and Sciences.
The author of several books, editor of several volumes of historical material, writer of history textbooks, he is also the author of more than 220 scientific papers.

IRINA LAZAREVIC – Member of the Supervisory Board

- graduated from the Faculty of Law, University of Belgrade;
- worked for twenty-three years in “Progress” Company in Belgrade; handling business contract and representing the company and its subsidiaries abroad before the courts of law and other competent authorities.
- has worked in the Commercial Court of Appeal since 2003;
- sang in the choir “Jovan Bandur” in Pancevo in high school and student days;
- has traveled all around the world, and has been twice in Indonesia;
- likes dancing and goes to salsa classes;

MOCHAMMAD CHANDRA WIDYA
Ambassador of the Republic of Indonesia to Serbia
H.E. Mochammad Chandra Widya, born 17th May 1965 in Jambi, earned his B.A. in International Relations from Padjajaran University, Bandung, Indonesia, before starting his diplomatic carrier in 1993, initially serving as an official of the Directorate of International Organisation at the Indonesian Ministry of Foreign Affairs.
He held various posts from 1997 to 2019: Second Secretary at the Embassy in London, UK; Deputy Director of ASEAN Functional Cooperation at the Ministry of Foreign Affairs; Political Affairs Counsellor at the United Nations in New York; Director for ASEAN Political and Security Cooperation at the Ministry of Foreign Affairs.
He has been appointed Ambassador of the Republic of Indonesia to the Republic of Serbia, concurrently accredited to Montenegro, as of 2019.
